The Palmetto Archives, Libraries & Museums Council on Preservation (PALMCOP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of South Carolina's documentary heritage. Its membership consists of individuals and institutions from across the state, representing archives, libraries, museums, historical societies, and anyone else who is dedicated to preserving information in all its formats.


Mission Statement

PALMCOP exists to provide its membership with assistance in conserving and preserving their collections. Any entity or individual with museum, library, or archival materials -- either public or private -- is invited to join PALMCOP.
